Finding the Extraordinary

Business inspiration from The Ultimate Triathlete

“Rowing an ocean has got very little to do with actually rowing; it’s about staying strong and not panicking when things stop working, which inevitably happens all the time.”

In 2014, James Ketchell became the first and only person to have rowed across the Atlantic Ocean, successfully summited Mount Everest and cycled 18,000 miles around the world. Seven years earlier he was recovering from a serious motorcycling accident resulting in broken legs and an ankle.

James’s approach to these extraordinary tasks is inspiring – and an innovative way of finding a market niche that keeps him doing what he loves.

“As you read James’s story, you will begin to believe that you too could achieve the extraordinary.” Bear Grylls

“I’m a true believer that, if you work hard and push yourself outside your comfort zone, doors of opportunity will naturally open.” James Ketchell
